ADMISSION PROCEDURE |

Undergraduate Program (B.A. LL.B, B.Sc. LL.B and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.)
Admission to the five year integrated B.A. LL.B, B.Sc. LL.B and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) programs will be through a common all-India entrance test (KLSAT). The entrance will be of three hours duration. The test will consist of multiple choice questions to test the legal acumen, logical and analytical reasoning, mathematical and numerical ability, and general knowledge. |

Postgraduate Program (LL.M.)
Eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed form available in the websites. Candidates for LL.M. course shall be selected by the Admission Committee, based on a combined assessment of :
- The performance at KLS AdmissionTest (KLSAT) on 02.05.2010 (Time: 2p.m to 5 p.m) &
- Performance at the interview/group discussion to determine the aptitude of higher studies and research to be held on 12.06.2010
Admission Test
The entrance test for LL.M. program will be of 200 marks. The test consist of multiple choice questions, and two long answer type questions essentially allied to Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Law of Contract, Law of Tort, Criminal Law, Company Law, Family Law or Intellectual Property Rights. |

ELIGIBILITY |

A candidate for admission to B.A.LL.B, B.Sc.LL.B & B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) (5 years) shall have:
|
Passed the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 50 % marks. |
|
For B.Sc.LL.B (Hons.) candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream
with at least 55% marks; and |
|
Not completed 21 years of age as on 1st July 2010 |

A candidate for admission to Master of Laws (LLM.) (2 years) shall have : |

To be eligible for appearing in the entrance test to the two years LL.M. degree course, a candidate should have passed B.A.LL.B/LL.B./ B.L. degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university and must have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate of the maximum marks prescribed for all the Semesters/years taken together. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can also appear for the test on the condition that they will have to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks at the time of admission. |
